Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says Sony's disc phase-out is NO BIG DEAL. He argues going digital expands audiences and could cut console costs by ditching the drive. Meanwhile, 340K gamers signed a Change.org petition, and PlayStation videos are getting mass-disliked. Sony's Austrian plant is already retooling for micro-lens production with a €30M investment. Physical games end January 2028.
