You guys are weird. I've never owned nor ever wanted to own any kind of "smart glasses". But this whole panic over smart glasses is making you look absolutely insane. You're talking about publicly assaulting and destroying the personal property of someone, that could land you in prison.
If 11 people upvoted you, Scotland has some serious fucking problems, but it's not any kind of camera-equipped electronic device. It's the mouth foaming violent wankers like yourself.
It's in a lot of ways a modern equivalence to a Peeping Tom. People vehemently don't want to be recorded without their consent. Doubly so if it's done underhandedly.
God, I wish these things were more obvious when they were recording. There's so much cool stuff you could do with them. But no, they had to be designed for perverts.
I've honestly never wanted to own smart glasses before, but the way I keep seeing weirdos on the internet talk about them makes me want to own one just to make sure I'll never end up being the kind of person who uses the phrase "glasshole".
Secret filming isn't cool. And wearing these is now against the TOS of the con. You do you, the rest of us will have to learn to adapt it seems. But we will adapt quite quickly to glassholes, I assure you, and I don't think your life experience will improve
