TIL there is a delete key function on the samsung keyboard.

Turns out if you hold shift and press backspace it will forward delete (text to the right of the cursor)

Maybe not news to some but i can't believe it has taken me this long to find that personally extremely useful feature out.

Almost as shocked as when i found that holding space and dragging around will move the cursor around making it easier to put the cursor where you need it.

Been using Samsung phones for years and never noticed actually. (They don't exactly shine in the documentation department)

You should try heliboard, Foss replacement with more features, theming, and privacy!

I will take a look

Edit: installed and customised. Gonna try it out for a bit.

I don't know that it can delete, I've only ever used backspace, but you can swipe on backspace just like space to select and delete whole words/sections.

This is how Mac keyboards work.

Function, not shift though.

Wait until you swipe on the space key.

At least on the Google keyboard it moves the cursor in the swipe direction. Very useful if you need to correct anything.

Omg lol. Apologies haha!

That would drive me crazy. Holding the backspace key deletes a word in most keyboards.
