I have a guess on why they did it! It’s to access phones without a warrant!! What’s my prize?

Most phones have a method to quickly lock a device and disable biometric login.

All phones are most secure immediately after reboot, before auth.

At least on iPhone, there are methods to make your device and comms a lot more secure at the expense f usability.
