Oman needs to hold their nerve and not be intimidated by the US. If they agree to Iran’s plans, this could be a billion dollar opportunity for them. It will pay for the damage done to Iran by the US and help develop Oman also
This is the price of continuously shitting on international law. Others can do it too. Especially when your goal in breaking international law is to overthrow that other country.
There’s no such thing as unfettered access through territorial waters. The US does not allow a complete freedom off access for Chinese or Russian ships through Panama. The US will restrict the same country’s ships through Caribbean waters
