This is not correct. The human population continues to grow and is anticipated to continue for 30-50 years.

The UN estimates 10.3-10.4B in the 2080s. The US Census 10.6B in 2092. The lower end is Wittgenstein/IIASA SSP1 at 8.8B in 2055.
