Considering everything going on rn, really feel like a spin-off with the Maquis would actually take off more than any of the recent shows have. Maybe that's just the anarchist in me talking.
No, was going more for a story about how star fleet wouldn't do what's right due to something like prime directive but others break ranks to take on the real villain. The story should highlight that not all laws are just and that the enforcers are just as corrupt as those making the bad rules.
