I found the weirdest way to bypass the Google Play Integrity Check

I'll go straight to the point, so many phones (aside from pixel and other minor brands) offer 2 app stores, Google Play Store and another store by the vendor(Samsung has the Galaxy Store, for Huwaei its the Gallery App Store, and for Amazon its the Amazon App store...) And these apps don't rely on the Google Play Services neither do the apps they offer

I own a Xiaomi Redmi and I've only tested it with some games that refused to run without the Google Play Store and it works!

This only requires you to not have a Pixel phone though, which is kinda ironic tbh

I have not tried it with banking apps although I doubt it'd work

Idk what's crazier between finding a safe way to install GPS required apps or finding a utility to those bloatware

Using an officially supported secondary app store and calling it a Play Integrity bypass seems like a bit of a stretch.

So you are saying to bypass the integrity check is to use another authorised store?

I read it like maybe some side-loaded apps that require Play Services still work without Play Services installed IF you just have one of those other stores installed instead, but yeah, we need clarification.

For anyone who got hopeful this is not a bypass for Play Integrity Check. OP is just installing apps from a different app store ment for phones which are restricted from using American tech. Due to this limitation all the app developers know if anyone is installing apps from those stores they maynot have Google Play Services example Huawei. So those app developers themselves are bypassing checking for Play Integrity Check.

If it was the case just of using different app store Aurora would've also worked. But it doesn't because Aurora provides exact same APK as the google play store unlike the other app stores OP mentioned

Sorry If the post wasn't clear

  1. When you use a stock rom/non custom rom with GPS removed (through adb or root) and you want to install an app from Google Play, you can't launch the app and it gives you a warning saying to install the app from Google Play, this is because of Google Play Integrity Check

  2. What I did to make it work is use the pre-installed other app store that you have on your phone like the Samsung Galaxy Store, the store and the apps it distributes doesn't rely on Google Play Services (or at least in my experience)

You are not bypassing Google Play Integrity Check. Apps can see what store you install them from and some apps blocks non official stores.
