To be fair, getting Europe's football associations to agree to a boycott is a very different thing than getting their national governments to agree to one

  1. Israel is still in UEFA so that doesn't make any sense

  2. UEFA is a political tool of the EU they have no autonomy to do something the EU doesn't want.
