Rich Paul (aka Lebron's Agent) is making the case that he could go to Philly to play as a back-up center for Embiid. A bit far fetched, but not impossible. He can not shoot, but is tall and can play defense.

There is a rumor that Simmons' agent tried to get the Celtics to sign him last summer. The agent even had a new playbook for the team: everyone would be working together to pad Ben's stats. It would be a win-win. Simmons would have a record breaking season, earning him a max contract somewhere else in the league and Boston would be guaranteed to have the worst record in the league, giving them great lottery odds. The idea was scrapped when Boston told him that they were not taking a year off.
