A first-hand witness said the area was super dark and in the middle of the woods. They had driven about 200 yards from a friend’s nearby cabin when they slammed on their breaks to avoid a collision with something that had jumped into the road.

The “thing” was described as a bipedal, 8 to 8.5-foot-tall creature that had coarse, matted and greasy-looking long brown hair covering every part of its body, except less on its face.
