Most European rivers are drying up. Romania had to shut down their nuclear plant because the level of the Danube was too low to cool it properly. Surely this is not climate change, right guys?
The AfD does everything what it's being told by the party's headquarters in Beijing (btw, is AfD chief Alice Weidel still holding her monthly meetings with China's ambassador to Germany?).
Such headlines are highly welcomed by propagandists to sow division among Western societies in an attempt to make Europe and its allies look bad (unfortunately, this instance is a fruitful ground if you look, for example, at OP's post history).
At the same time, negative news about China are highly censored by the regime in Beijing, which makes it easier for propagandist to frame China as the 'better' country.
Don't know whether a meaningfully large amount of people believe in these disinformation campaigns, but it doesn't help to fight climate change, which is inherently a global issue.
AfD doesnt have a majority in any state in Germany. They are not in charge of policy. The fact that some people are dumb doesn't change the fact that the eu and all member states accept the science on climate change.
Me too. I don't think the cdu will ever work with them though, which means they will need an absolute majority in order to govern anywhere. It's not enough to be the most popular, they need 51%.

Oh no! I just read a threat on LinkedIn where someone read a news article that France was arresting hundreds of arsonists, so that was proof that climate change did not start the fire. Also, a graph that wood burns at 400°c , not 40°c. More proof that climate change is just a lie to help the left egenda.

In Germany the AfD is outright denying it. The CDU is downplaying the effects. Both of which are state and federal.
I reckon it's the same in every european state. The far-right deny it, the right downplay it.
