That is what I have seen. The right does not have the votes to win but their voters are loyal. Law. Especially the courts. Are based on precedence. As more rightward laws are made then when the left does win it has to spend time trying to get back to center which results in calls they are not left enough which results in right wins befor they got back thus making more laws that have to be dealt with. Its just like the economy. One presidential term of building cannot make up for one of destroying. destroying things is way easier than building regarless of if its infrastructure, agencies, systems of law, or individual rights.

People who don't do anything aren't leftists. Leftists go to protests and do direct action in their community and vote against fascists.
People who don't do anything are leftists in theory, but they're standing by and letting the world get worse. In practice, they're centrists.
This here is a leftist community, so rhetoric optimised to fatigue voters and help fascists is against the rules, regardless of intentions.
