Or maybe it’s subscription fatigue. Meanwhile I just subscribed to two new services today. One is in the App Store, it’s $5 a year for mostly system wide ad blocking on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Filtr with Wipr). The other is outside the ecosystem, it’s $6 a month for 2 years and then you own it. Ellipsus, a writing program that is anti-AI. Most subscriptions on the App Store are predatory though. It’s never been a big secret ave more and more people are realising it.
