Sugar companies and US NCGA are trying to get Ace-K banned globally since it affects their profits.

Of the lawsuits filed by companies where the plaintiff could be identified, 38% were brought by eight parent corporations: Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Mondelēz, Kellogg’s, Danone, Ferrero, Xignux and Heartland Food Products Group.

The company founded by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg? He advocated a bland diet, but was also involved in the eugenics movement.
