Been a minute since I've seen an Ural Owl!
I think someone here had a nest in their backyard.
I love how laid back they appear, though I think the reality is they are pretty spicy like our Barred Owls here in North America. 🌶️

Their facial disc stands out as very unique to me, and they basically look like stoned Barred Owls and also vaguely remind me of Bill Murray, so I have a lot of associations for their species 😄
