Players complained for months, but the devs only copped to it recently. The nerf patch dropped July 31, with a bigger reward-system rework promised for this endgame content. They didn't say the exact HP reduction percentage.

Season 25, "Appalachia Under Siege," launched June 2 and made Infestations the centerpiece. Randomly buffed enemies ended up too tanky, and social media was flooded with complaints. Now we wait for fixes and better loot
