I guess maybe there’s NWSL/NFL crossover?

The league is planning to take a seven-week break due to the international tournament while trying to fit a 30-game schedule for 2027. The first game next season is planned to take place at BMO Stadium, with Angel City as hosts, while Super Bowl XLI will take place at SoFi Stadium, also in California.

I am guessing the first part of the season will be mostly away games for teams like Boston due to the weather. February is usually our snowiest month, and we often don't see full melt until March or April. So, hopefully that means we can have a great run of home games to wrap up the season.

Kinda the opposite of this season, where your home games were heavily front-loaded. I hope you’re right and the NWSL can figure your season so it’s mostly on the road in the winter — orange ball isn’t very fun to watch, and it has a heavy risk of soft tissue injuries.
