Don't you just hate that person that never lets you go first?

We shall call this land..."this land." 😄

I have actually never seen Firefly. I hear much good stuff, but knowing it got canceled makes me reluctant to watch it knowing there will never be more.

It was worth it, but yeah it was "awww i wanted more"

The cast reunited a couple months ago to announce an animated revival was in the works. There have also been novels & comic books published to tide you over until then.

ETA: It's worth investing in even if that doesn't come to pass. It's still talked about nearly a quarter century later for a reason.

Oh, that is pretty cool news! I will have to give it a go then. That's a really powerful fandom.

Just make sure you watch the pilot episode "Serenity" first (but not the movie confusingly of the same name - save that for last). Fox aired the pilot last, and left people really confused because of it's unusual setup. Still managed to keep most of it's audience of nearly 4 million viewers throughout its run, however, so that should tell you about the quality of the show.

Those are some interesting decisions! Air the first last, and then call the last thing the first thing that you made the last thing... 🤯

The handling of the show was rather odd in a good number of ways, not the least that it was canceled despite it obviously being quite popular with its audience even through all of Fox's mishandling. It lost very little of its audience over the course of its run - something you wouldn't see happen if the show was in any way a bad one.

I could give you more info, but I don't want to put you off by seeming too rabid. It genuinely is a fantastic character-driven show, and you really should give it a whirl if you're at all interested.

As much as I've seen people refer to it over the years, I should at least watch it to know what everyone is actually talking about.

I didn't see the original Star Wars trilogy until I was in the mid to late 2000s. I don't know how I never saw them growing up in the 80s, and with so many references and copycats over the years, I felt like I'd already seen enough of it. I checked out the prequel trilogy as it came out, and I think I saw all of those before the originals.

Ah, you can't fool me. The frogmouth on the right just checks out when he sees he's gonna have to wait some more.

He's like, "Okay ready! . . . Oh. . . *enters sleep mode*"

"Hooman...do you not see my mouth is also empty??? I will holds it here until you notice."
