I mean, prosecuting corruption is good, but also, the amounts stated in the article are 4-5 orders of magnitude smaller compared to the overt embezzlement and looting going on in the states right now
We don't know a damn thing about what's going on there, but this report looks like the average everyday corruption that any official conducts in order to get through their day. I don't see 2 billion dollars funneled into her private orphan crushing enterprise. Ya, fire and even prosecute her. But it sounds like she's been singled out. Honestly, it makes me wonder what was she doing that made the wrong people nervous?
That’s more what I was getting at - I agree that it does seem like she’s getting targeted a bit for a comparatively minimal amount of shady things. Not an excuse, but it does feel disproportionate.
