A bit of cynicism goes a long way, so while hoping for the better (and pushing if ever needed), still worth leveraging their catalogue being DRM-free to back things up 🙏
Wasn't there also Funkwhale and Bandwagon as ActivityPub-compatible DRM-free music stores?
But besides those, there's others, though each with their caveats, like GOG/Steam/Itchio being game OST-focused, ITunes being kinda not DRM-free (besides only allowing downloads through their launcher), Qobuz/Amazon/7Digital being geolocked in 3rd world countries to my knowledge, Recochoku geolocked everywhere but Japan, etc.

Funkwhale do not sell music or pay artists. Mirlo sell digital music and is working toward federation
