From my observations the userbase here isn't really the chatting type 🤷 seems people here are more into questions/discussion based interaction. If you're looking for people to hang out with you'll probably have better luck elsewhere
Several, but they tend to die down after the first few posts.
I am not subscribed to them so it would be hard for me to find them, but I see them occasionally when checking for new communities (I use Boost and it allows sorting local communities by 'new'.)
