Has anyone noticed how many Americans work in and around Westminster? How many hold leading academic and influential lobbying positions in the UK? This is nothing new.

One does note that this article is in The Guardian, a British newspaper that constantly involves itself in American politics. Sure, there are a variety of people who write for The Guardian, but...okay, one of the authors on this article is Aisha Down. She's in London, and she's got articles this month like "Experts cast doubt on Trump and DHS chief's claim 250,000 noncitizens are registered to vote in four US states".
Like...you can call for a political firewall across the Atlantic, and maybe it'd even be a good idea, but I don't find it to be nearly as convincing if that call is coming from someone who clearly does not themselves maintain a firewall.
