So the MAGA candidate is now trying to emulate Elbows Out, the same way he thought his sexy makeover would win the last election.
This guy says things, but has no actual useful suggestions or policies. Remember, he told us the future of Canada was a cryptocurrency, he since hasn't said anything.

I'm torn here.
70% of our small business owners are highly reliant on the US and so making concessions to help them out seems like a good idea. We'd lose so much revenue if we get a huge blanket tariff. That money flowing into our economy is really keeping us from a full blown recession.
But then, I want America to suffer too, and so caving seems silly to me, from an ideological view, rather than a practical one. I want tax revenue from digital services tax, I don't care if US booze is on the shelf as I wouldn't buy it. I've gone out of my way and do without US products whenever possible. We can choose to starve the US with our purchases, regardless of what's on the shelves.
I'm still debating whether cutting them completely off from potash for a year is a good idea. We could starve the US, literally, in less than a year's time. I just worry about the fallout from an unhinged country such as the US and how they'd retaliate, should we end their farming yields for a year.

I am not arguing either way on that point personally, I just think the idea of Pollievre standing up against a more powerful, uglier, older version of himself he admires is hilarious on the face of it.
This is just two coyotes playing good coyote bad coyote to convince the coop that the good coyote isn't part of the same pack with the same objective of slaughtering all the chickens as the bad coyote.
Though the more I think about it, given that logic I would just assume the opposite of whatever Pollievre gets animated about arguing Canada should do is good for Canada.

That's been my take on Lil Pp for about a decade now. The guy has said three things I agree with since becoming leader of the Cons. Three. Dude is tone deaf to the needs of regular Canadians for too long.
