Just like they have before via things like the Levon Affair (planning to stage terrorost attacks on British and American cinemas in Egypt), the Gulf of Liberty attack (killing Americans), the Apollo affair (stealing Nuclear Material from America), and the mass production of fake Australian passports for use in Israeli intelligence operations.
Israel are not friends, they actively hate America and allies and just can't attack them too much yet, so they corrupt them. 70 percent plus of Israeli citizens are right wing, and that's the agenda they promote.
They can't even accept that it was the rightwing who assassinate their president Yitzhak Rabin - most believe conspiracy theories that it was leftist radicals.
