Does it feed on blood and have a sassy baritone singing voice?

Looks like it could be a malevolent flower from Star Trek TOS.

Give it to a girl you like, then go on a magical space adventure that may be a dream and has a story that makes no God damn sense.

What’s the difference between a lentil and a peony?

idiomaddict@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 24d

Is it poisonous? It looks poisonous, but if it’s edible, I really want to eat one, even if it’s fibrous or bland.

Edit: nothing specific on the fruit, but peonies in general both contain an alkaloid that is toxic in large quantities to humans, and have been used in traditional medicines for millennia. It’s possibly safe, but I won’t risk it.
