Yeah, his congressional district is adjacent to mine. I drive through it or visit places within it all the time. There are some safe areas, but plenty of deeply red areas throughout.
These people do not care if their representative is a domestic abuser, as long as he’s a republican. They have zero moral philosophy beyond “democrats are pure evil.” I went to a county fair in his district once and the people there were all extreme MAGA cultists, sporting very aggressive / downright hateful pro-trump t-shirts & hats, signs, flags, etc. It was gross.
