A diver found a 162-year-old bottle of beer at the bottom of the English Channel—the bottle of Guinness has been lying underwater since the Victorian era.

It was discovered on a sunken British sailing ship that went down in 1864. If experts deem the beer safe, the diver will give it a try.

Scientists also hope to study the ancient yeast and recreate 19th-century Guinness. The project has been named “Jurassic Beer.”
