For something that came out of Japan in the 1980s, Ranma is pretty progressive.
It completely sidesteps any issues with naming, but when Ranma is a boy, everyone refers to him as a guy. And when Ranma is a girl, everyone refers to her as a girl. It’s never a point of contention beyond the fact that Ranma is cursed to transition back a forth with hot and cold water.

Pretty cool show, i like the new versión too, the old one did have better music mind, also i fear the new ver wont get as many eps.
