Spag bol. Controversial but spaghetti is so overrated the only thing going for it is that it's quick. Give me penne or shells any day of the week. The only reason I cook it is because my husband's face lights up when I suggest it and who's gonna pay for my drinking, smoking and gambling habits if I don't please him. That bit was a joke.
I too, would choose a more 'meaty' pasta over the spaghetti if it weren't for my spouse....however lately the tomato sauce has given her heartburn so I've been branching out with the pasta options more than ever!
I still pay for her gambling, smoking, drinking and carousing with bad influential people though.
