GPU market evolves backwards as modded RTX 3080 20GB cards return as cheaper gaming alternatives

GPU market ̶e̶v̶o̶l̶v̶e̶s̶ ̶b̶a̶c̶k̶w̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ regresses.

I would pay to have my 3080 modded and the vram doubled. The 10gb of vram is basically my biggest limitation right now.

How are they buying 3080s, adding 10gb ram, selling for under $500 US and still making a profit?
