US-Saudi-Emirati crimes of aggression on this day, August 17

[2026-08-17] SABA (Sana'a) — On this day, August 17, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression committed heinous crimes against the Yemeni people, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including women and children.

On August 17, 2015, four citizens were martyred and 19 others, mostly women, were injured as a result of the aggression aircraft targeting a citizen's home in Jiblah City, Ibb Governorate, destroying it and damaging neighboring homes.

It also targeted, in another airstrike, a citizen's home in the Al-Rahman Mosque neighborhood in Al-Dhihar District, resulting in its destruction and moderate damage to neighboring homes.

Two citizens were martyred as a result of the aggression aircraft shelling a transport truck and a car oil-change shop in the Naqil Yaslah area of Bilad Al-Rus District, Sana'a Governorate. It also targeted a truck loaded with construction materials known as "Nis."

The aggression aircraft carried out more than 100 raids on the areas of Al-Ishraf, Al-Jafina, Al-Faw, and Al-Balaq west of Ma'rib City and the Athban Factory south of the city. It also targeted the Halhalan Bridge in the Al-Jadaan area, connecting the Sana'a-Ma'rib road, with an airstrike, completely destroying it and obstructing the movement of travelers to and from Ma'rib Governorate.

The aggression aircraft targeted the Old Youth House and the Gymnastics Hall in Hodeida Governorate, completely destroying them along with the equipment inside.

In Saada Governorate, the aggression aircraft carried out four raids on the Al-Talh area and four similar raids on the Sabr area in Sahar District, damaging a number of citizens' homes and farms. It targeted Kataf District with 16 raids, including 12 raids on the Al-Fara' area, and carried out two raids on the Al-Marazim area in Saqin District, targeting citizens' commercial shops.

On August 17, 2016, one citizen was martyred and another injured as a result of an aggression airstrike on a vehicle on the main road in the Hawari area of Hawth District, Amran Governorate.

Three women were martyred in aggression airstrikes on a bridge in the Muqi'a area of Al-Salw District, Taiz Governorate, while they were crossing the road. It also carried out two raids on the Security Administration building in Same' District, causing extensive damage.

Two women were martyred in an aggression airstrike targeting their home in the Takhyah area of Majz District, Saada Governorate, while five citizens were martyred and eight others injured in an airstrike on a fuel station in Saada City.

The enemy aircraft carried out nine raids on the areas of Jabal Sha'eer, Al-Hamaqi family, and Al-Majazah, and three raids on the Mandabah area in Baqim District, ten raids on various areas in Kataf District, seven raids on Saada City and its outskirts, three of which targeted the Political Security building in the city center, and an airstrike on a citizen's home in the Manqah Suwaih area of Saqin District, all of which caused extensive damage to citizens' public and private property.

The aircraft carried out 12 raids on Kahlan Saada and the Al-Abqour area in Sahar District, and two raids on a fuel station in the Barkan area of the border district of Razih, causing a citizen's vehicle to catch fire. It also carried out two raids on the Maran area in Haydan District.

The enemy aircraft carried out four raids on the Al-Yatmah area and two raids on the Al-Aqaba area in Khub and Al-Shaaf District, Al-Jawf Governorate, causing extensive damage to citizens' homes. It also carried out four raids on citizens' homes and farms in Al-Ghayl District.

The aggression aircraft targeted the 21 September Park in Ma'een District, Amanat Al-Asimah, with three raids, causing severe damage to public and private property.

In Sana'a Governorate, the aggression aircraft targeted the Al-Jumaymah area in Bani Hashish District with three raids, causing extensive damage to agricultural land. It also carried out two raids on the Al-Manarah and Al-Majawahah areas in Nahm District, causing severe damage to citizens' property, and targeted Mount Raji in the Dharwan area of Hamdan District with two raids, causing damage to agricultural land.

In Taiz Governorate, the aggression aircraft carried out three raids on citizens' homes in Al-Akbwsh village, Ahkum, in Hayfan District, and a fourth airstrike destroyed the home of citizen Abdul-Malik Tarboosh and several neighboring homes in the Al-Adouf area of the district.

Meanwhile, the mercenaries shelled the villages of Ahkum with artillery, damaging a number of homes and displacing dozens of families.

On August 17, 2017, the aggression aircraft carried out two raids on the areas of Al-Makhdirah and Al-Rabi'ah in Sirwah District, Ma'rib Governorate, and targeted Mawza District in Taiz Governorate with three raids.

In Saada Governorate, the enemy aircraft carried out three raids on the areas of Al-Malil and Khalayqa in Kataf District and an airstrike on Baqim District, while intense Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeted various areas in the border district of Manbah.

The aircraft carried out three raids on Al-Hathirah in Jizan and an airstrike on the Aliab Mountains opposite Najran.

The aggression aircraft carried out an airstrike on Dar Al-Mansar in Bayhan District, Shabwah Governorate, two raids on Al-Muton District in Al-Jawf Governorate, and five raids on Haradh and Midi districts in Hajjah Governorate.

On August 17, 2018, two citizens were martyred and two others injured as a result of aggression airstrikes on citizens' farms in the Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tuhayta District, Hodeida Governorate.

The aggression aircraft carried out two raids on the Al-Atfain area in Kataf District, while missile and artillery shelling targeted populated villages in the border districts of Manbah and Shada in Saada Governorate.

On August 17, 2019, a boy was injured by mercenary fire in the Al-Suwaiq area of Al-Tuhayta District, and three citizens were injured as a result of mercenary shelling of citizens' homes on Al-Nasr Street in the July 7 neighborhood of Hodeida City.

The mercenaries shelled toward the Faculty of Engineering and various areas on 50th Street with artillery and machine guns, shelled toward Hodeidah Airport with artillery, and targeted Al-Waha, City Max, Mobile Roundabout, and Sana'a Street with heavy and medium machine guns and artillery shells. They also fired more than 40 artillery shells at various areas south of Al-Tuhayta City.

Intense mercenary artillery shelling targeted citizens' homes and property in Al-Durayhimi City, damaging a number of them. They also shelled toward Al-Za'faran village in the Kilo 16 area with artillery and various machine guns.

The aggression aircraft carried out an airstrike on Majz District in Saada Governorate.

On August 17, 2020, the aggression aircraft carried out 12 raids on Sirwah District, two raids on Majzar and Mahliyah districts in Ma'rib Governorate, and two raids on Khub and Al-Shaaf District in Al-Jawf Governorate.

The aggression mercenaries shelled various areas in Hodeida Governorate with 97 missiles, artillery shells, and various types of ammunition.

On August 17, 2021, one citizen was martyred and another injured as a result of shells dropped by aggression reconnaissance aircraft on a citizen's farm in the Al-Jah area of Bayt Al-Faqih District, Hodeida Governorate, while the mercenaries established combat fortifications and shelled several areas with missiles and artillery.

The aggression aircraft carried out 15 raids on the border district of Al-Dhahir and two raids on the Al-Fara' area in Kataf District, Saada Governorate, and targeted various areas in Sirwah District, Ma'rib Governorate, with five raids, causing damage to citizens' property.

On August 17, 2022, reconnaissance aircraft carried out five raids on the Al-Barh left flank in Taiz Governorate, Al-Tal'ah Al-Hamra in Sirwah District, Ma'rib Governorate, and northeast of Hays in Hodeida Governorate.

The aggression mercenaries established combat fortifications at Al-Dharwah Hill in Al-Dhubab, Taiz, Siyan Hill in Al-Tinah, Hajjah, Al-Jabaliya in Al-Tuhayta District, Hodeida, and Al-Shabakah in Najran.

The mercenaries opened fire on various areas in the governorates of Ma'rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Dhalea, Al-Bayda, Hodeida, and the border fronts. They targeted the areas of Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi, Al-Rawdah, Sirwah, and Mala'a in Ma'rib; Haradh, Bani Hasan, Hayran, and Al-Tinah in Hajjah; Al-Malahidh, Al-Madafn, Al-Buq, and Shada in Saada; northwest, northeast, and east of Hays in Hodeida Maqbanah in Taiz; and Old Al-Kamp, Al-Amud in Wadi Jarah, and Jabal Tuwaylaq in Jizan, and Al-Souh and Al-Baqa in Najran, with artillery shelling.

On August 17, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft carried out six raids on Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate, Hays District, and the Al-Jabaliya area in Al-Tuhayta District in Hodeida Governorate. The mercenaries established combat fortifications in Hays and shelled various areas with artillery and different types of ammunition.
