[2026-08-18] SABA (Sana'a) — On this day, August 18, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted historic cities and archaeological sites, populated areas, ports, and grain silos, leaving martyrs and wounded, as well as extensive destruction.
On August 18, 2015, 13 citizens were martyred and more than 20 others were injured as a result of several airstrikes by the aggression aircraft targeting the Faculty of Education area in Amran City. The strikes also resulted in the destruction of a number of citizens’ homes and vehicles.
Ten citizens were injured, and many homes were damaged in an airstrike by the aggression aircraft on the Al-Sahouba area in Naqil Abdan in the Rural Ibb District. It also launched an airstrike on the security checkpoint in the Shaban area of Naqil Al-Siyani in Ibb.
Six children and three women were martyred as a result of the aggression aircraft bombing the building of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama in Hodeidah City. The bombing led to the destruction of the Authority, buildings, and residential homes. It also targeted berths No. 7 and 8, the crane of berth No. 6 at Hodeida Port, grain silos, the container port, and warehouses, resulting in large fires breaking out in the port’s berths and facilities.
One citizen was martyred and ten others were injured as a result of two airstrikes by the aggression aircraft on Razih District in Saada Governorate. It also targeted the Bani Muadh area in Sahar District with six airstrikes, causing extensive damage to citizens’ homes and farms.
The Apache aircraft belonging to the aggression launched an attack with more than 25 missiles on the Al-Qama area in Kataf District, while Saudi enemy artillery targeted the same area with more than 60 artillery shells.
The hostile aircraft launched seven airstrikes on the historic Baraqish City in Majzar District, Marib Governorate, causing extensive destruction to its archaeological walls and the temple belonging to it.
On August 18, 2016, four citizens were martyred and three others were injured in two airstrikes by the aggression aircraft on two trucks loaded with foodstuffs on the main road in Al-Mutammah District, Al-Jawf Governorate.
A man and his wife were martyred and others were injured as a result of the aggression aircraft targeting a citizen’s home in Baqim District, Saada Governorate. It also launched an airstrike on Saqain District, an airstrike on the Al-Hassamah area in the border district of Shada, and an airstrike on the Sarah area in Majz District, as well as more than ten airstrikes on Qamar Village in Al-Khoba, Al-Amoud, and Al-Hassamah in Jizan.
The hostile aircraft launched an airstrike on the Naqim area in Azal District, Amanat Al-Asimah, causing severe damage to public and private property, and two airstrikes on the Dabwah area in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul Districts in Sana’a Governorate, resulting in damage to citizens’ homes and property.
On August 18, 2017, the aggression aircraft launched four airstrikes on Sarwah District and three airstrikes on Harib Al-Qaramish District in Marib Governorate, causing extensive damage to citizens’ homes and farms. Meanwhile, the mercenaries targeted Al-Amal School and citizens’ homes in the Al-Hazm area of the district with artillery shells, causing damage to them.
The aggression aircraft launched eight airstrikes on Haradh and Midi Districts in Hajjah Governorate, and two airstrikes on Wadi Mozza in Taiz Governorate.
The aggression aircraft launched four airstrikes on the Al-Malahidh area in the border district of Al-Dhahir in Saada Governorate, causing severe damage to citizens’ property and farms. It also launched three airstrikes on Jabal Al-Amoud in Al-Khoba in Jizan.
On August 18, 2018, one citizen was martyred and three others were injured by Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeting citizens’ homes and farms in the border district of Shada in Saada Governorate, while the aircraft launched an airstrike on a citizen’s vehicle in the district, resulting in its destruction.
In the same governorate, the aggression aircraft launched three airstrikes on citizens’ homes and property in Baqim District, six airstrikes on various areas in the border district of Al-Dhahir, and two airstrikes on Al-Raboua in Asir.
In Sana’a Governorate, the aggression aircraft targeted Al-Gharza Village in Hamdan District with 11 airstrikes, causing damage to citizens’ homes and property. It launched 13 airstrikes on the Al-Sama and Al-Farijah areas, an airstrike on Beit Shalman in Arhab District, and two airstrikes on the Al-Majawaha area in Nihm District.
The hostile aircraft launched eight airstrikes on the Al-Jah area in Bayt Al-Faqih District, Hodeida Governorate, and four airstrikes east of Jabal Al-Maslooq in Harf Sufyan District, Amran Governorate.
On August 18, 2019, the aggression aircraft launched a series of airstrikes in Saada Governorate on various areas in Al-Dhahir District, six airstrikes on the Maran area in Haydan District, and an airstrike on the Al-Jamalah area in Majz District.
In Hodeida Governorate, the mercenaries targeted Hodeida Airport and northern Hays District with artillery and medium machine guns. They also carried out sweeping operations with medium machine guns on the College of Engineering. They shelled Al-Shajan Village, northeast of Al-Durayhimi City, with 14 artillery shells, and carried out intensive sweeping with various calibers on warehouses and commercial sites in the Kilo 16 area.
On August 18, 2020, the aggression aircraft launched two airstrikes on the Al Ali area in the border district of Razih, Saada Governorate, causing damage to citizens’ property, while the districts of Razih, Shada, and Al-Dhahir were subjected to Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeting populated villages, roads, farms, and public and private property.
The aggression aircraft targeted Sarwah District with 15 airstrikes, launched an airstrike on the Salb area in Majzar District, Marib Governorate, two airstrikes on the Al-Labanat area in Al-Hazm District, Al-Jawf Governorate, and an airstrike on Walad Rabi’ District in Al-Bayda Governorate.
In Hodeida Governorate, the hostile aircraft launched six airstrikes on Al-Hashidi Farm in the Al-Arj area. The mercenaries shelled citizens’ property north of Hays District with Katyusha rockets and artillery shells, and also shelled various areas with artillery, rockets, and firearms.
On August 18, 2021, one citizen was martyred and another was injured by Saudi border guards’ gunfire in the Al-Raqou area in the border district of Munabbih, Saada Governorate, while the aircraft launched an airstrike on the Al-Fara area in Kataf District.
The aggression mercenaries established combat fortifications in Al-Jabalia and Al-Tuhayta in Hodeida Governorate, and shelled various areas with 114 artillery shells and different types of firearms.
On August 18, 2022, the reconnaissance aircraft launched three airstrikes on Hays District in Hodeida Governorate, while the mercenaries established fortifications west of the reservoir in the Al-Jabalia area of Al-Tuhayta District and northeast of Hays.
The mercenaries opened fire on various areas in the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Dhale’e, Al-Bayda, and Hodeida, as well as the border fronts. They shelled the areas of Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Mala’a in Marib; Haradh and Bani Hassan in Hajjah; Al-Malahidh, Al-Madfoun, Al-Buqaa, Shada, Al-Madhala, and Baqim in Saada. This resulted in the injury of citizen Sultan Mohammed Ahmed Al-Khamisi, citizen Ali Ahmed Hussein Sharif in Al-Kabsa in Shada, and citizen Fayez Mohammed Misfar Saleh in Munabbih.
The mercenaries carried out intense artillery shelling targeting northwest, northeast, and east of Hays in Hodeida, Maqbanah in Taiz, and Jabal Tuwaylaq and Al-Amoud in Wadi Jara in Jizan.
On August 18, 2023, the mercenaries shelled Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate, the Al-Jabalia area in Al-Tuhayta District in Hodeida Governorate, and Hays District, where they established combat fortifications. They also shelled several areas in the governorate with various types of firearms.
