Where’s that NSFW/NSFL settings?

Some things are automated, like the blocking of instances and NSFW/NSFL settings. You can customize it in your account settings if you wish to change them.

My feed🛜 & account is 21+ years of age, so I want folks that have age settings to toggle my account that if they follow me, they have to abide by my interactions rules/boundaries.

https://en.pronouns.page/ does is perfectly.

And yes, I want to be able to see NSFW content on fyp.

When you make a post, if it's NSFW click on 'More options' then tick 'NSFW' or 'Gore/gross' if NSFL.

In BlueSky you have install the NSFW list & enable «Show Pornographic Content» / «Blur PC» / «Hide PC»
etc.

While PieFed could add this feature, 90% of the people who look at your profile will be using platforms like Mastodon or Lemmy which ignore it and just display your profile straight away.

I am aware of this too, which is why I also set the «Extra Fields» stuff too. In BlueSky, without an account, my posts wouldn't show up at all. If you do set an account, you still wouldn't see my replies. You would need to go out of your way to 1) install the NSFW feed 2) selected «Show» / «Blur» in order for my replies to show up.

That would legally make my account compatible with the «No minors in social media» laws.

Cool.

To be clear, I'm not pushing back against the idea I'm just making sure we both understand why it might not be as effective as we'd hope.

There are a lot of things like this where even though other platforms can't keep up PieFed pushes ahead anyway. We can't move at the speed of the slowest laggards even though that means the benefits of being ahead are reduced.
