Biological sex is neither binary nor a spectrum – a biologist explains how it’s multidimensional

This is actually much more of the direction of conclusion I expected science to come to. Not at all surprised it ends up being a whole collection of traits rather than one simple convenient checkbox. Nature will continue to be uniquely expressive as always.

Never thought about seeing it like a mosaic before. I like how elegantly it contains multiple dimensions.
