It's time to take this bad boy out for a spin tonight

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 5 pts · 1d (3 replies)

That has a real 2009 Threadless Facebook ad vibe

Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d (2 replies)

Problem is the hoodie is polyester and has no zip.

I'm going to get an artist to redesign it so it's original and will get it printed on proper cotton hoodies.

SaneMartigan@aussie.zone · 5 pts · 1d (1 reply)

Dismantle it and re-sew it into something else?

Catfish@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d

Yep. Anything cute that wears out or doesn't fit right gets cut up and used as patches.

CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone · 7 pts · 1d

I can confirm those hash cookies are still good. Feeling pretty mellow rn.

Taleya@aussie.zone · 7 pts · 1d (2 replies)

Was gonna go and Do Things. However, Cerys has crept out of her Forress of Solitude and sat upon me so i must accede to the desires of the feline.

6.1 bgm this morning, such a good girl.

You're a cushion. You don't have rights.

Taleya@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d

Incorrect, i am bolster and buttressing against stinky little boys.

Catfish@aussie.zone · 6 pts · 1d (2 replies)

I will Not be buying a Jimny.

Pilk@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (1 reply)

*sad rectangular prism noises*

Catfish@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d

It would have looked damn cool with an Umbrella Corp wheel cover.

Seagoon_@aussie.zone · 6 pts · 1d

just staying home, doing housework upstairs, then tv and making my moomin diorama 😊

Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone · 6 pts · 1d (6 replies)

Dear shoulder,

We're supposed to be on the same team. If you fuck me up, we all suffer.

Stop listening to the eyelashes.

Kind regards,

The nervous system

Taleya@aussie.zone · 5 pts · 1d (5 replies)

Reach up and grab a doorframe underhand grip over your head. Drop your hip on the side that hurts and turn to look under your armpit . Any ease?

StudChud@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d

Should try this move out next time I play twister

Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (3 replies)

Lemme give it a try.

Lying down feeling sorry for myself isn't really helping...

Taleya@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d (2 replies)

If its any consolation, you haven't torn a rotator cuff. I've done that and its your upper arm that hurts :P

Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d (1 reply)

That actually helped!

It's a genetic issue with our right shoulders.

Mum had it, cousin has it, I have it.

What happens is my shoulder starts to hitch up if I don't go to the gym at least twice a week. Once it hitches up completely, it's days of migraines till I see the physio.

Lame lol

Taleya@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d

Awesome! So are least now you have a quick stretch you can do to kick the can down the road a little bit

SpinMeAround@aussie.zone · 6 pts · 1d

Pub lunch and a river walk, what an excellent day for it.

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 6 pts · 1d (2 replies)

On further Linux talk, GF has been using the restored laptop to watch YouTube whilst sorting through pokemon cards, and that's a great use of the computer.

No loading other bullshit or getting bogged down by a bullshit OS. It just boots and plays videos

mertn22@aussie.zone · 1 pts · 20h (1 reply)

I spent 1/2 the day fighting with bash syntax.

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 1 pts · 11h

Ooof, I'm sorry to hear that. My switch to Linux has made me realise how much of a non power user I am in the grand scheme of things

CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone · 5 pts · 1d

I'm not leaving my bed today. The weather is shit and the cricket is on.

Alamutjones@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 1d

Morning. I’m off to the market.

Catfish@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d (4 replies)

Test drive day. Not sure how I'll cope with all the new fangled gadgetry. And bloody autos, but there's no arguing with Boyo on that one unfortunately.

Seagoon_@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d

Read the manual. Familiarise yourself with the controls. Be calm.

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (2 replies)

I decided that fancy stuff doesn't matter. You'll set it up once and never touch it again. I just wanted to know how the cruise control worked

Catfish@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (1 reply)

I'd rather it didn't exist at all where possible, but that is pretty hard to find.

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d

It also makes cars a privacy nightmare, just like TVs. I'd like a TV that's nothing more than a good screen of that size but no one does that anymore. Both cars and TVs have to track you as much as possible these days

imoldgreeeg@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d

It's nice to be home. Think I am going to celebrate by going to bed

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d (2 replies)

Loaded up the windows drive (ew) to use creative cloud (ew). Made the most of it and played some Sekiro and Elden Ring with the new Steam Controller.

Unfortunately Sekiro doesn't want to detect any controllers other than mouse and keyboard on Linux, and Elden Ring runs like area on there. I could probably smooth it out with some tinkering but why bother when other games just work

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (1 reply)

Tried joycond? Fixed me up on Retroarch

tombruzzo@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d

I'll have a look. I looked at mods and programs that change the order of input devices but being on Linux probably just adds layers of complications there

Upstairs cleaning done

found that the sheep skin blankets I put on the sofa harboured moths , sofa has a few tiny holes now 😔, luckily on a spot that rarely gets sat on

but everything dusted, much put away, floors cleaned , up stairs bathroom clean

and a huge dish of chicken cottage pie made, at least 3 meals out of that, at least

More Widow's Bay watched. It's starting to get very creepy, very.

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (3 replies)

The Siren?

Seagoon_@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d (2 replies)

I just finished "What to expect on your trip"

The Siren is the Hag? That was scary

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 23h (1 reply)

Yeah I started watching that one on a stormy night when I was the only one home. Noooope

Great night out in brunnie. Ive missed being a social butterfly lol

Seagoon_@aussie.zone · 3 pts · 1d

I've been watching Widow's Bay.

It's terrific fun, easy to watch.

Also watched Abbot and Costello meets Frankenstein today, twice.

So much happens in that movie, so many characters, yet it's all seamless and characters are introduced quickly and well

it's just a big set up for comedy skits, , sight gags and some jump scares, all in fun

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 1d

Things Have Been Accomplished.

Now for a shitload of Noti's and a SNW catchup

Taleya@aussie.zone · 1 pts · 21h (2 replies)

Ok. I knew about the puppet episode. I did not expect Joe lo Truglio

SpinMeAround@aussie.zone · 1 pts · 20h (1 reply)

Taleya@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 20h

Charles Boyle as orion pirate was an...interesting choice
