In total, 20 deportees arrived at Roberts International Airport, Liberia on Thursday afternoon.

Fifteen others got off the flight and are now somewhere in Liberia, a third country that they are not from.

Deportation flights have become well-known for being as excruciating in their conditions as the internment camps.

The five men were part of the first group of deportees to be sent to the West African nation by the Trump administration. The Liberian government has not clarified their status.

Since 2016 at least we've had hundreds of cases of pilots refusing to fly with deportees on board. Apparently (in Germany at least) they have the last word who gets to fly and who doesn't and they're pretty safe from consequences.
