The world was generally on an upward trajectory at the time. Then the yanks decided that electing a blatantly unqualified right wing blockhead as president would be a spiffing idea. And here we are.
To be fair, he lost the election, the supreme Court just decided that counting votes is kinda lame and we should just go on vibes. Their vibes. So they decided Bush won.
Having graduated college before the pandemic and AI, when drugs didn't have fent in them, feels like I'm some old hippie from the 60s who was having free love before AIDS. "Back in my day I just took random pills and wrote 10 page essays".
