I wasn't saying he wasn't a natural born citizen. All you have to say is Pakistan and the entire Republican party (and not an insignificant number of the Democratic party) would freak right the hell out.
Beats Gavin and Kamala I guess... I think we need a firebrand though, someone even more vocal than AOC about the same causes. Instead we're going to get 10 establishment picks, 3 progressives, and one of those will be real butthurt about the most popular progressive and refuse to endorse (Warren). They're going to pull the South Carolina represents the whole country bit, and then converge like drops of mercury to flood the zone with "Kamala is the most electable." Bullshit.
For a firebrand, you could potentially look at the current Senate candidates like Abdul El Sayed or Angie Nixon, if they win their races. Obama was elected President as a freshman senator.
I prefer him over AOC from the current list of progressive candidates. He's more seasoned and exudes leadership with the way he stood up for Kilmar Abrego Garcia by visiting him in El Salvador.
