Now that you mention it's, so do trains and buses.
But as I think about it, nobody ever calls them chairs or furniture, they call them seats.
But you can made a chair out of an old airplane seat, but then it's no longer fast.

Seems a bit of a stretch.
You are just setting on a rocket motor at that point. You get a one time up and down. It does do it fast, but only once.

Fun fact: Klingon women throw furniture at the men during sex. I assume a same sex couple that are women will throw at each other.
