They sort of go hand in hand. It isn’t often someone as talented and part of one of the more prominent bands of the era, avoids attention quite as much as she did. Let alone with how Stripes ended and her seemingly vanishing entirely after, which is very relatable. It’s also why this article by the Guardian is kinda annoying but the band is probably due for a renewal in media attention given how long it’s been.
I just always assumed she valued privacy over fame. I know that's rare in that business but it didn't fascinate me or make me want to learn more about her.
I very much enjoyed the music she made and I hope she's enjoying a peaceful and private life.
I used to be a huge White Stripes fan, that being said I can't say I've ever thought about what Meg was doing after the breakup and divorce. TBH I don't really care about a lot of Jack's stuff afterwards either. You could play Racontuers, Dead Weather, or Jack White solo songs interchangeably. Only really interesting project was Them Crooked Vultures and that was more of a super group.
EDIT, he's not even in Them Crooked Vultures, I was thinking of Dave Grohl lol

I am surprised to learn that people are fascinated by her. I had just assumed we were all impressed by her impeccable drumming.

Supposedly they broke up because Jack wanted to tour more, and she was over the whole tour bus life style, causing their divorce.
It's too bad she didn't play after. But who knows, maybe she's in a weekend band and enjoys that.

I don’t think Jack White had anything to do with Them Crooked Vultures…

I've never heard of this person, but I wonder how they'd get along with Rebecca Black.

I've heard of them, but I didn't know they were named after a member.
