BREAKING: SCOTUS Lets Trump Move Ahead With Mail Voting Crackdown (w/ Richard Hasen & Steve Vladek)

The crackdown, according to this:

• restrictions on mail in ballots for USPS (details ELI5?)
• restrictions on who is getting ballots mailed in the 1st place
• "DOJ can prosecute election officials who allow non-citizens to vote"

Apparently these restrictions are not yet active.

There's a confusing flurry of court statements, one saying the exact opposite: that these restrictions cannot be.

Again, it's 3½minutes packed with informative lingo, maybe somebody can break it down better than me.

Do I even need to add my own opinion & feelings here? This is horrible and the sort of shit that could really put a final end to whatever is left of democracy in the USA. It must not happen, esp. not before the midterms.

If you live in Texas, you can vote early from October 19th to October 30th, 7 a.m. to 7pm. There is absolutely no reason you can't find the 20 minutes it will take to vote sometime between 7am and 7pm from October 19th to October 30th. If you live in one of these counties, you can vote at any polling station in the county you reside in.
