Year of after-school care now costs £2,800 a child in parts of UK

I know American families that are spending that much a month. It's really wild how expensive they have made it to have kids at the same time that all of the free outdoor stuff we used to do with our parents now costs money and is far further apart.

There comes a point where you have to decide that going to work isn't worth the hassle.
