Hey guys, we're trying to build the next-gen gaming server host, where people would pay by-the-hour, instead of monthly, to save on costs.
We're in public beta, and we'd happily host your Minecraft games, if you'd like to play with your friends, family and team, in exchange for feedback on reliability and service as a whole.
The website is https://warp.cool/
My Discord @adamwarp
Just let me know if you're interested, and I'll assign you your credits.
Your feedback would be invaluable to us!
(Factorio players welcome as well)

pay by the hour... to save costs
it's guaranteed going to cost more than monthly or even buying your own rig...but you already know that.

Buying your own rig for sure but paying hourly vs monthly will depend on how much you game on that server.

Glad you brought this up - would you mind expanding a bit?

That's cool, what are you using on the backend? I have been using amp for a few years at home.

Hey, Uroš here, hijacking Adam's account. I'm on the tech side of things here. We actually use our own orchestration/backend rather than AMP. We provision the infrastructure through cloud providers directly and handle deployment, backups/restores and server lifecycle ourselves. The game servers themselves are containerized where appropriate.

That's cool, I do see you have mod support like getting bedrock players on java servers which is great.
What about auto stopping and auto starting support? Ahh, reading further I see the below. Could that be customized? I have mine set to when the last player leaves wait 5 min then shutdown.
Auto-shuts down after 20 minutes with no players

Thank you, that took a while to build!
Yup, 20 mins as the default.
Anything other you'd like to see as a feature?

Running tasks/scripts based off event triggers. More robust backup/rollback system. Like hourly while it's running.
API support if not already there. Being able to start it with a discord bot would be nice along with being able to add players from discord.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. Love the Discord bot idea, especially. In case you sign up, let me know and I'll give you some credits.
