Sources differ on the date of this ad, but all are between 1895 and 1900. The model for the illustration was Hilda Clark. This was back when Coca-Cola still contained cocaine!
This classified ad was the first ever ad for Coca Cola, in 1886, per wikipedia in the Atlanta Journal.

Wikipedia claims the card below was the "first coupon ever". I thought it might mean "... for a Coke", but multiple other sources like Wired say it was the first coupon ever, for anything. Allegedly, giving out liberal amounts of free Cokes was instrumental in the company becoming a behemoth of the beverage industry.
