TIL that almost every year since 2015, Idaho children have died of treatable conditions. Their parents refuse medical care. It's legal in Idaho, the state just lets it happen.

If a mother wanted her child to see a doctor but was not permitted to take the child anywhere, that would be murder.

This is not a feel-good story, to say the least, and I couldn't bring myself to read this article. Even the accompanying image, with the following caption, is disturbing:

Since the 1970s, the state’s criminal and civil laws have allowed parents who belong to Followers of Christ and other faith-healing sects to pray as their children die

So if abortion is illegal in your state.. Just go to Idaho and give your kids measles from your anti vax friends and refuse medical care to have a legal post birth abortion.
