It's nice, but turns into "avoid red shapes" very quickly, which makes it feel like a lot of other bullet heaven games. If you like this aspect in your gameplay, then it's one of the better ones for sure. If not, then anything unique the game has to offer remains behind this very familiar (and getting old) mechanic in all your runs.
My go to is Net.Attack(), which has next to no red zones (some, but justvyo apice things up) and you can basically spell program your skills. If you like this, I have a handful more to suggest.
If you end up liking the spell programming in there, I cannot get enought of Magicraft. It's a proper roguelite not a horde survivor, but man the spell combinations I still discover after over 1000 hours! I have no choice than to admit it's my game of the year at this point. It basically ruined arpgs for me (PoE, Last Epoch, etc.)

Fun game, I recommend it if you like the bullet heaven genre (Vampire Survivors etc)

Do you have any alternative suggestions? Ideally with shorter runs?

Thanks! I will check it out. I have enjoyed a few games in the genre, but haven't really kept up with some of the newer titles.
