US Hybrid will establish its headquarters and manufacturing operations in Lancaster, Calif., where it plans to produce hydrogen-powered trucks and buses and employ 1,200 people.
The California-based propulsion systems manufacturer announced a partnership with the First Public Hydrogen Authority (FPH₂) and City of Lancaster that will pair vehicle manufacturing with a dedicated hydrogen supply. Operations are expected to begin in 2027.
