I love that the primary motivation doesn't seem to be fixing the problem, but, "Ay, are we doing better than Scotland, though?"

Welcome to BBC Scotland where they give free publicity to Fraser of Allander Institute. Which is a tory mouthpiece. And to be fair: FoA are right in this instance, we don't even know the scale of the problem in Scotland! And I am pretty sure our anecdata all shows there is a problem.

I have long said Yes needed to setup a university aligned research group to counter this narrative. Surely aligned to Abertay and the Yes city would make sense to me, they have a social justice and sustainable living dept. But I am not alumni, staff, nor even a resident of Dundee - so it won't be me that starts it!
