That's what I suspect, and not just an AI band, but an AI festival with an entire bill of AI bands.
But I still haven't found anything to verify that - there's little hints scattered through the comments, like references to "creators" and such, and a notable lack of coverage anywhere else. And, the more I've paid attention, a suspicious sameness to the audience. And there's a band elsewhere on the bill - on one of the festival compilations - that looks like five vtubers just pulled straight out of their streams and rendered with instruments.
It's disappointing. I still think the song is excellent, but my enthusiasm for it sort of dried up and blew away somewhere along the way.
It's not the artificiality - I've been listening to and watching vocaloids since the Miku Black Rock Shooter days, so virtual musicians don't bother me. It's the apparent deliberate attempt to hide what they are.
And actually, thinking about it, I could see a Teto version of that song...
In a comment on one of the videos in that channel, someone asked what was used to make the song and the "creator" reply was Suno, which I discovered is an AI music generator.
IMO, it's disingenuous to not label the channel as AI generated, for a start. On top of that, I personally don't think that AI music should be encouraged anyway. There is more than enough music created by real humans who deserve recognition for their talent.
Sad that I didn't figure out it's AI until I'd already showed my family. Makes me feel like such a fucking out of touch grandpa, and I'm hardly even forty!
I've made the same mistake, I was really grooving to "Frugit" for a minute and someone pointed out they're noted as AI on Spotify (but not YT). Really stresses me out when they're dishonest about it.

If you check the comments (e.g translate) It seems like it's an AI band

I hear you - I'm the one who posted it in the first place.
To be fair, they did keep the fact that it's AI as quiet as possible.
And the thing is, it's still awesome. I'm still watching it and still enjoying it.
And I'm not quite sure what to make of that...
